Job Title: Vertical Head – AMC & Lifecycle Services (EV Chargers & Solar O&M)

Role Objective (Read This Carefully)
To build, own, and scale a standalone AMC & Lifecycle Services vertical for EV chargers and solar assets, with full P&L and collections ownership, ensuring quarterly AMC execution, pan-India service delivery, and time-bound revenue realization from OMCs, PSUs, and state government clients.
This role is cash-driven, execution-heavy, and accountability-led. It is not a support or advisory position.
Business Context
• EV Charger AMC with OMCs (DC fast chargers) from 2026 onwards for 7 years
• Expected AMC business size: ₹70–100 Cr
• Solar AMC with State Governments & PSUs: ₹3–5 Cr annually
• Legacy outstanding AMC dues: ₹5–6 Cr (2–3 years ageing)
The role holder is expected to stabilize collections, close backlogs, and scale the vertical as a profit center. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue, Billing & Collections Ownership
• Own quarterly AMC billing cycle across all clients
• Drive milestone-based invoicing and cash collections
• Lead recovery of legacy outstanding dues (₹5–6 Cr)
• Coordinate with finance but personally own collection outcomes
• Maintain strict ageing controls and reduce receivable days
2. AMC Operations & Field Execution (Pan-India)
• Manage national AMC execution for EV chargers and solar assets
• Lead field engineers, service vendors, and after-sales teams
• Ensure timely closure of: • Site-level technical issues
• I&C completion
• Material shortages and replacements
• Damage rectification
• Testing, commissioning, and compliance documentation
• Ensure issue closure directly links to billing and payment release
3. Client & Account Management (OMCs, PSUs, State Agencies)
• Act as single point of ownership for AMC clients
• Conduct quarterly performance and billing reviews
• Handle escalations, disputes, LD risks, and contractual enforcement
• Ensure AMC renewals, scope extensions, and lifecycle service continuity
4. Team & Vertical Build-Out
• Build and lead a separate AMC vertical with clear accountability
• Structure regional teams (North / West / South initially)
• Set KPIs for execution, closures, billing, and collections
• Establish a central AMC PMO for trackers, MIS, and documentation
5. Governance, MIS & Control
• Implement site-wise and client-wise AMC trackers
• Monitor: • Issue ageing
• Invoice ageing
• Regional performance
• Present monthly dashboards to management
• Ensure zero dependency on ad-hoc or informal processes
Candidate Profile Experience (Mandatory)
• 12–18 years of experience in AMC / O&M / Lifecycle Services
• Prior exposure to EV charging, power infra, solar, telecom, railways, or utilities
• Hands-on experience dealing with OMCs, PSUs, DISCOMs, or State Governments
• Proven track record managing pan-India field teams
• Direct experience in collections and revenue realization, not just invoicing

• Comfortable with escalations, negotiations, and contract enforcement
• Operationally detail-oriented with execution bias
• Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, projects, and after-sales
