Job Description – PCB Engineer (Solar Industry)
Position: PCB Engineer Industry: Solar / Power Electronics Experience: 2–5 Years Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E (Electronics / Electrical)
Role Summary:
Responsible for PCB designing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing for solar inverters and power electronic products. The role involves schematic understanding, PCB layout review, and PCB-level fault analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCB troubleshooting and component-level repairing.
- Understanding and analyzing circuit diagrams & schematics.
- Testing and validation of PCBs used in Solar Inverters & SMPS.
- Root cause analysis of PCB failures and corrective actions.
- Coordination with R&D and Production team for improvements.
- Handling soldering, rework, and replacement of SMD & DIP components.
- Maintaining repair & testing documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PCB circuits and power electronics.
- Experience in MOSFET, IGBT, ICs, Drivers, Rectifiers, Transformers.
- Hands-on experience with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Soldering Station.
- Ability to read and understand schematics & PCB layouts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
