Job Description
ROLE OBJECTIVETo lead and manage end-to-end execution of EV charging infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality compliance, and coordination with internal teams, vendors, DISCOMs, and clients in line with Servotech’s growth objectives in the EV ecosystem.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Planning & Execution Plan, execute, and monitor EV charging station projects (AC/DC chargers, fast chargers, public & private installations). Prepare project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Ensure adherence to project milestones, scope, and quality standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously across locations.Site Execution & Technical Oversight Oversee site surveys, layout planning, electrical load assessment, and installation. Ensure compliance with:o Electrical safety standardso EV charging normso DISCOM / government guidelines Troubleshoot on-site execution issues and ensure timely resolution.Budget & Cost Control Track project costs vs budget. Control cost overruns and optimize resource utilization. Validate vendor bills, BOQs, and project expenses.Stakeholder & Vendor Management Coordinate with:o Internal teams (Sales, SCM, Finance, Engineering)o OEMs & charger supplierso EPC vendors, civil & electrical contractorso DISCOMs, local authorities, and clients Handle vendor onboarding, BOQs, work orders, and performance evaluation.Documentation & Reporting Prepare:o Project status reportso Installation & commissioning reportso Handover documents Maintain proper project documentation for audits and reviews. Provide regular MIS updates to management.Risk & Compliance Management Identify project risks and mitigation plans. Ensure statutory and safety compliance. Ensure adherence to company SOPs and quality standards.KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIESTechnical Skills Strong understanding of:o EV charging infrastructure (AC/DC chargers)o Electrical systems, load calculationso Site execution & commissioning Knowledge of EV standards, DISCOM processes, and approvals Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project / similar toolsBehavioral & Managerial Skills Strong project coordination and stakeholder management High ownership and execution mindset Problem-solving and decision-making ability Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure Strong communication and vendor negotiation skillsQUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Education: B.Tech / BE (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics preferred) Experience:o 7–10 years in project management / EV / power / electrical infrastructureo Prior experience in EV charging projects will be a strong advantageKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) Project completion within timeline & budget Quality and compliance adherence Vendor performance & cost optimization Client satisfaction Zero safety or compliance deviations
