Job Title: SAP Asst.Manager Cum Auditor
1. Audit & Risk Assessment: Lead end-to-end audits of SAP MM, PP, QM, and SD processes, including: Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Purchase Requisition → Purchase Order → Goods Receipt → Invoice Verification → Vendor Payment
2. Identify and report process deviations, incorrect entries, or data mismatches.
3. Review Inventory Management: Stock transfers, goods movements, physical inventory, stock adjustments
4. Verify Production Planning: Check Production order creation, verify entry of goods issue/receipt, WIP accounting, scrap, and by-product postings
5. Review Master Data Controls: Material Master, Vendor Master, BOMs, Routings, and Work Centers
6. Identify potential fraud, policy violations, duplicate Material Codes, or unauthorized transactions.
7. Control Design & Testing: Review and assess Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts and SAP authorization assignments across MM,SD,QM & PP modules.
8. Test transaction accuracy, including material valuation, cost posting, production order settlements, and account determination.
9. Validate approval workflows, All release strategies (Including PO Approvals), and master data controls.
10. Conduct risk-based testing of high-value transactions, production orders, and inventory postings.
11. Evaluate integration controls between MM–PP–FI/CO modules.
12. Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform analytics for variances or high-risk transactions.
13. Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and actionable recommendations.
14. Present and discuss audit results with the Business Process Head.
15. Track closure of audit observations and validate implementation of corrective actions.
16. Guide process owners and discuss SAP best practices and compliance improvements.
17. Mentor junior audit staff and guide SAP daily transactions auditing methodology.
18. Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, minimize risks, and improve process efficiency in SAP processes.
19. Recommend system or process enhancements to improve transaction accuracy, inventory management, and production control with the Business Process Head.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP functional modules with a focus on audit, compliance, and internal control processes.

5. Audit of Production Orders, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, and Work Centers
6. Verification of WIP (Work-in-Progress) and Cost Settlement Processes
7. Evaluation of Quality Inspection Plans, MIC (Master Inspection Characteristics), and related control
8. Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to prepare audit reports and process improvement recommendations.
9. Knowledge of internal audit methodologies, SAP authorization concepts, and risk-based audit techniques preferred.
