Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Techno-Commercial Sales professional with expertise in solar, energy storage (batteries), and power electronics solutions (inverters, converters, UPS, drives). The candidate will work closely with engineering, supply chain, and global partners to deliver profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in solar, battery energy storage, and power electronics markets (B2B / EPC / utility / industrial).
- Engage with customers, EPC contractors, consultants, and government agencies to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals (technical solution + pricing & commercial terms).
- Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
Techno-Commercial Support
- Evaluate customer specifications, RFQs, and tenders from both a technical and commercial perspective.
- Liaise with engineering teams to design optimized solutions.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and present ROI-driven proposals to customers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts while ensuring technical compliance.
Market & Customer Engagement
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in renewable energy and power electronics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (OEMs, EPCs, utilities, government bodies).
- Represent the company in trade shows, technical seminars, and industry conferences.
Internal Collaboration
- Work with supply chain/procurement teams to ensure material availability and competitive pricing.
- Partner with project and service teams to ensure smooth execution and after-sales support.
- Provide customer feedback to product development/R&D teams for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Engineering; MBA preferred.
- 6–8 years of techno-commercial sales experience in solar, battery storage, or power electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of PV systems, inverters, energy storage technologies, and grid integration.
- Proven track record of tendering, bidding, and negotiating large B2B/industrial projects.
- Proficiency in preparing techno-commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of government policies, renewable energy regulations, and incentive schemes is an advantage.
Key Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of solar, battery, and power electronics systems.
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen (pricing, cost analysis, ROI models).
- Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
