Project Engineer – Solar
Department: Solar Projects / EPC
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Site-based / Project locations (as assigned)
Role Overview
The Project Engineer – Solar will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and
monitoring of solar power projects (rooftop and/or utility-scale).
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute solar EPC projects from site mobilization to commissioning.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, site, and commissioning teams.
• Supervise installation of solar modules, inverters, structures, and electrical systems.
• Monitor site activities, quality, safety, and timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy.
• 2–6 years of experience in solar EPC projects.
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, AC/DC systems, and SLDs.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel.
Behavioral Skills
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
