Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Power Electronics System Designer with deep expertise in digital power conversion systems to lead the design, development, and deployment of high-power AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC solutions. The role demands end-to-end ownership of power projects—from conceptualization through production—along with team leadership and technical mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system-level architecture and design of high-power digital power conversion systems (1KW–3KW and above)
- Drive end-to-end execution of power electronics projects: concept → design → prototyping → validation → production release
- Design and optimize AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC power conversion topologies
- Own digital control implementation, including:
- Control algorithms
- Digital filters
- Compensation & control loops
- ADC interfacing
- MCU/DSP integration
- Select and design critical power components, including:
- Power semiconductors
- Passive components
- Magnetics (transformers, inductors)
- Develop solutions for high-frequency switching with focus on:
- Efficiency optimization
- EMI/EMC compliance
- Thermal management
- Lead hardware-software integration for digital power platforms
- Conduct design reviews, failure analysis, and root cause investigations
- Support certification, compliance testing, and production ramp-up
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance power electronics design team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, quality)

- Digital Power Conversion Systems
- High-Frequency Switching Power Supplies
- Power Topologies: LLC, Phase-Shifted Full Bridge, Flyback, Forward, Buck, Boost, Inverter
- Magnetics Design & Optimization
- Control Loop Design & Stability Analysis
- Digital Controllers (MCU/DSP) & ADC Integration
- Power Semiconductor Devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN preferred)
- EMI/EMC & Thermal Design Considerations
Experience & Qualifications
- 20+ years of total experience in Power Electronics
- Minimum 10+ years in Digital Power Conversion domain
- Proven experience in high-power systems (1KW–3KW)
- Strong track record of taking power products from concept to mass production
- Hands-on experience in prototype development and validation
- Prior experience in technical leadership / team management roles
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (PhD preferred but not mandatory)
