As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dynamic Training Manager to strengthen our learning and development framework across both plant and corporate operations.
Role Overview
The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering effective training programs tailored to both plant and corporate requirements. The role demands a hands-on professional with proven expertise in end-to-end training lifecycle management — from need analysis to execution and post-training evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Strategy & Design:
- Conduct training needs analysis at corporate and plant level.
- Develop annual training plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Design modules across technical, behavioral, functional, and compliance areas.
2. Training Delivery & Execution:
- Deliver engaging classroom, on-the-job, and digital training sessions.
- Manage induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Partner with plant leadership to address shopfloor skill gaps.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Develop pre- and post-assessments to measure training effectiveness.
- Maintain training MIS, dashboards, and compliance records.
- Track ROI on learning interventions and propose continuous improvements.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business heads and department managers to identify critical skill requirements.
- Liaise with external training vendors where necessary.
- Ensure smooth execution of plant-level technical training in coordination with line managers.
Key Requirements
- Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Management, or related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in training design and delivery (preferably in manufacturing, renewable energy, or related industries).
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle both corporate-level soft skills programs and plant-level technical training.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and training dashboards.
- Exposure to digital learning tools will be an added advantage.
