Sr. Accountant (Payable)

Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable Management:Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.Manage vendor relationships and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies.SAP S4/HANA Expertise:Utilize SAP S4/HANA for managing accounts payable operations.Ensure proper configuration and usage of SAP modules to optimize accounts payable processes.Financial Reporting:Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all payable transactions are accounted for.Compliance and Control:Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular audits of accounts payable processes and implement improvements as necessary.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of accounts payable professionals.Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.Leverage technology and best practices to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.Vendor Management:Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage negotiations to optimize payment terms and conditions.Resolve vendor disputes and ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.Qualifications:Education:M.Com/CA(Inter)Experience:8-10 years of experience in accounts payable management.Extensive experience with SAP S4/HANA is required.Skills:Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.Proficiency in using SAP S4/HANA for financial transactions and reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Preferred Attributes:Experience in a multinational or large-scale organization.Knowledge of international accounting standards and practices.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other accounting software.
