Senior. Engineer - Project

About the Role:

We are searching for a passionate and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of solar projects, from initial feasibility studies to final commissioning and handover. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and engineers, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

● Participate in project feasibility studies and develop proposals

● Assist with the design and engineering of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems

● Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources

● Oversee procurement of materials and equipment

● Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for installation activities

● Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations

● Perform quality control checks and ensure all systems meet specifications

● Manage project documentation and reporting

● Commission solar PV systems and ensure proper operation

● Address any technical challenges that arise during project execution

● Stay up-to-date on the latest solar technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)

● Minimum 4-8 years of experience in solar project engineering or a related field

● Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and design principles

● Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP)

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

● Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively

● Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

● Experience with solar design software (PVSyst, AutoCAD) a plus
