Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Service (Solar + Lithium Battery) Budget: Up to ₹7 LPA Exp -7 to 10 yrs
Role Purpose 
To lead and strengthen field service operations for Solar and Lithium Battery systems by ensuring high uptime, efficient issue resolution, and scalable service processes. This role is critical in delivering reliable after-sales support as the organization expands its Solar, Lithium Battery, and EV Charger network. 
Key Responsibilities 
1. Service Operations Management 
  • Manage end-to-end service operations for Solar and Lithium Battery systems across multiple locations
  • Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns, complaints, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Monitor uptime SLAs and drive continuous improvements
2. Field Service Execution             
  • Coordinate with field engineers, service partners, and regional teams
  • Plan and optimize deployment of service resources
  • Ensure adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) for all service requests
3. Issue Diagnosis & Resolution 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues (hardware, software, connectivity)
  • Collaborate with R&D and product teams for root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Maintain structured logs of recurring issues and corrective actions
4. AMC & Service Contracts 
  • Manage end-to-end AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) lifecycle
  • Ensure contract compliance and timely service delivery
  • Support billing, renewals, and commercial alignment
5. Process & System Development 
  • Establish SOPs, escalation matrices, and service workflows
  • Drive adoption of CRM/ticketing tools for service tracking
  • Develop dashboards for performance tracking (uptime, response time, closure rate)
6. Stakeholder Management 
  • Coordinate with clients, EPC partners, and internal teams
  • Provide regular performance updates to leadership
  • Handle escalations proactively and professionally
7. Team Management 
  • Lead and mentor service engineers and technicians
  • Define KRAs and monitor team performance
  • Identify skill gaps and drive training initiatives
Key Metrics / KPIs 
  • System / Charger Uptime (%)
  • Service Request TAT
  • First-Time Resolution Rate (FTR)
  • AMC Renewal Rate
  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
  • Repeat Issue Frequency
Desired Candidate Profile Experience 
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience
  • Background in Solar, Power Electronics, Lithium Batteries, or similar service environments
  • Mandatory: Team handling experience (engineers/technicians)
Technical Skills 
  • Strong understanding of Solar systems (preferred)
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, and fault diagnostics
  • Familiarity with EV chargers, OCPP, and IoT-based monitoring systems (added advantage)
Functional Skills 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Data-driven approach to service improvement
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing systems

Educational Qualification
