Project Manager Solar

  Key Skills & Competencies  8+ years of experience in solar project execution  Mandatory hands-on exposure to: o Site survey & feasibility o Installation & commissioning o Vendor and contractor management  Experience in EPC / execution roles  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES  Lead end-to-end execution of solar power projects, including planning, site survey, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover, across multiple states.  Manage simultaneous solar project executions across different geographies, ensuring consistency in quality, safety, and delivery standards.  Prepare detailed project budgets, BOQs, and material procurement plans for EPC activities.  Conduct comprehensive site surveys, verifying electrical, civil, and structural layouts, and ensuring site readiness prior to mobilization.  Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved designs, safety norms, and quality standards.  Monitor daily and weekly project progress, resolve technical and execution challenges, and ensure completion within defined scope, timelines, and cost.  Perform generation performance analysis, identify system losses, and implement corrective and performance-improvement measures.  Manage vendor negotiations, contractor performance, manpower planning, and cost controls to optimize project profitability.  Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), progress reports, commissioning documents, and other project documentation for internal and client review.  Ensure adherence to safety protocols, statutory requirements, and zero-incident execution at project sites.  Conduct training and performance review sessions for site engineers and execution teams to enhance technical capability and operational efficiency.
