Job Title: Area Sales Manager – South Region

Role Overview We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Managers to strengthen our South Region channel sales network. The incumbent will be responsible for driving secondary sales, developing channel partners, expanding market presence, and achieving regional revenue targets, preferably within the Solar / Renewable Energy sector. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage channel partners, distributors, and dealers within the assigned territory
- Drive primary & secondary sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Appoint new channel partners and expand market reach
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and promotions in the region
- Conduct dealer meets, training programs, and promotional activities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics
- Ensure timely collection, credit control, and inventory management
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, service) for smooth operations
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and MIS regularly
Candidate Profile
- Strong Channel Sales background (mandatory)
- Solar / Renewable Energy industry experience preferred
- Proven track record in territory handling and channel expansion
- Experience in managing distributors, dealers, EPCs
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned region
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA – Sales/Marketing preferred)
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in channel sales
- Exposure to solar modules, inverters, EPC sales, or allied electrical products is an advantage
