Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solar Service Engineer responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power systems. The candidate will ensure smooth operation of solar plants, minimize downtime, and provide timely technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of solar plants
- Troubleshooting of inverters, panels, batteries, and electrical components
- Diagnose and resolve system faults to ensure minimum downtime
- Conduct site inspections and performance analysis
- Monitor system generation and maintain service reports
- Handle customer complaints and provide on-site technical support
- Coordinate with service coordinator and technical teams for spare parts
- Ensure safety compliance during site work
- Maintain documentation of service activities and daily reports
Skills Required
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical wiring
- Hands-on experience in installation & maintenance
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical diagrams
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for field service
