Job Description
Job Title: DM -Purchase - EV Charger/Solar/Power Electronics Manufacturing
Servotech Renewable Power Systems Ltd., a leading manufacturer of EV chargers, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Purchase Specialist to join our growing team.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement of materials and components needed for the production of our EV chargers. You will play a key role in ensuring we have the right materials at the right price and time to meet our production demands.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of electronic, electrical and mechanical components, raw materials, and other manufacturing necessities.
- Source and negotiate competitive quotes for materials and components.
- Manage purchase orders, track inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery.
- Analyse pricing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate purchase order documentation and ensure adherence to company purchasing policies.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to understand material requirements.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech EE, ECE, ME.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the electrical, mechanical and electronics manufacturing industry. Must be from the EV, Solar or Power Electronics company background.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Experience with sourcing electronic components and raw materials is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
