Role Overview
Servotech Renewable Power Systems Ltd., a leading name in the renewable energy space, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – Export Sales / International Sales to spearhead international business development initiatives across the African Continent.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing export markets for Solar PV Panels, Solar Inverters, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with strong expertise in sales strategy, market expansion, and distributor/channel development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand export markets for Solar PV Panels, Inverters, and BESS products in the African region.
- Drive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in international territories.
- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, distributors, EPCs, and institutional buyers in target markets.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and pricing studies to identify business opportunities and market trends.
- Formulate and execute market entry strategies for new countries and emerging markets.
- Lead negotiations and deal closures with key clients and partners.
- Manage export documentation, order processing, and coordination with internal teams for production, logistics, and dispatch.
- Participate in international exhibitions, trade fairs, and B2B meetings to promote the company’s product portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with all export regulations, documentation, and statutory requirements.
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts and drive customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and market intelligence reports to management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong exposure to African market development (mandatory).
- Experience in handling renewable energy products – Solar PV, Inverters, BESS, etc.
- Proven track record in international business development and export sales.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- In-depth understanding of international trade norms, logistics, and export documentation.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and presentation abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively across assigned regions.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in International Business / Sales & Marketing from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Export / International Sales within the Solar / Renewable Energy industry.
- Strong network and working experience in the African continent (mandatory)
