The Role
As the Senior Manager Sales – OEM (Lithium Battery), you will be the strategic architect for our B2B and OEM revenue streams. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing high-value relationships with Solar EPC, Hybrid Inverter Manufacturers, Automotive OEMs (2W, 3W, and Commercial EVs) and Industrial partners. Your goal is to integrate Servotech’s Lithium-ion solutions as the preferred energy source for leading equipment
manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
● OEM Acquisition & Strategy: Identify and onboard Tier-1 and Tier-2 Automotive OEMs. Develop a robust pipeline for Lithium battery packs (LFP) specifically for E-mobility and stationary storage.
● Key Account Management: Act as the primary interface between the client’s technical/procurement teams and Servotech’s R&D/Production units.
● Technical Consultative Selling: Lead discussions on battery chemistry (LFP), BMS (Battery Management System) integration, thermal management, and mechanical housing to provide tailored solutions.
● Revenue Leadership: Define and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. Manage the full sales cycle from initial RFP/RFQ to contract negotiation and commercial closure.
● Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, technological shifts (e.g., Solid-state, Sodium-ion), and government subsidies/policies (PLI schemes, FAME-III) to position Servotech competitively.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the Sonipat manufacturing facility and Quality Control teams to ensure OEM-specific compliance and timely delivery of batches.
● CRM & Reporting: Maintain high data hygiene in CRM (Zoho/SAP S/4HANA) and provide the leadership team with accurate revenue forecasts.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. An MBA in Marketing/Sales is highly preferred.
● Experience: Minimum 8 years in B2B/OEM sales, with at least 4-5 years specifically in the Lithium-ion Battery or EV industry.
● Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS), Cell-to-Pack technology, and charging protocols.
● Network: An active rolodex of contacts within the Indian EV OEM ecosystem (Hero Electric, Mahindra Electric, Euler Motors, Greaves, etc.).
● Negotiation: Proven track record of handling multi-million dollar contracts and complex technical negotiations.
● Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to represent the brand at national industry forums.
