Job Description
Role PurposeThe Lead Qualification Executive will act as the first point of contact for all marketing-generated leads. This role is responsible for structured outreach, initial lead qualification, and ensuring a seamless handover of qualified prospects to the secondary sales team.
The position plays a critical role in:
- Improving lead conversion efficiency
- Reducing lead leakage
- Ensuring disciplined and timely follow-ups on marketing-generated data
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Engagement & Outreach
- Connect with all assigned leads generated through marketing channels (digital campaigns, events, inbound inquiries, etc.)
- Ensure 100% lead coverage within defined turnaround time (TAT)
- Perform a minimum of 3 touchpoints per lead (calls and follow-ups) before marking as disqualified
2. Lead Qualification
- Understand customer requirements including need, budget, timeline, and intent
- Apply standardized qualification criteria as per SOP
- Categorize leads into:
- Qualified
- Nurture / Follow-up
- Disqualified (with reason)
3. Data Discipline & CRM Hygiene
- Update call outcomes in CRM or tracking systems in real-time
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Call attempts
- Customer responses
- Qualification status
- Ensure zero data loss and proper tagging of all leads
4. Handover to Second Calling Team
- Transfer only validated and well-structured leads to the next stage
- Share key customer insights, including:
- Requirement summary
- Urgency level
- Objections and expectations
5. Follow-up Management
- Plan and execute structured follow-ups for warm or undecided leads
- Ensure no lead is dropped without completing the defined attempt cycle
6. Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Daily number of leads contacted
- Touchpoint compliance (≥ 3 attempts per lead)
- Qualified lead conversion rate
- CRM data accuracy
- Response turnaround time
Candidate ProfileMust Have
- 0–3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or lead qualification
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and basic English
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling
Good to Have
- Experience in EV, Solar, B2B, or technical product sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools or Google Sheets tracking
- Structured and process-driven follow-up approach
