Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to strengthen and expand our channel sales network in the assigned region. The incumbent will be responsible for driving secondary sales, developing and managing channel partners, increasing market penetration, and achieving regional revenue targets. Experience in the Solar / Renewable Energy sector is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and expand channel partners, distributors, and dealers within the assigned territory
- Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Appoint new distributors and channel partners to enhance market reach
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and promotional activities in the region
- Plan and conduct dealer meets, training sessions, and promotional campaigns
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Ensure timely collections, credit control, and effective inventory management
- Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and service for smooth operations
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS
Candidate Profile
- Strong background in Channel Sales (mandatory)
- Experience in Solar / Renewable Energy industry preferred
- Proven track record in territory management and channel expansion
- Experience working with distributors, dealers, and EPC partners
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in channel sales
- Exposure to solar modules, inverters, EPC sales, or allied electrical products will be an added advantage
